Shadowlander

Beyond the shadow of a doubt -
        into the realm of gray.
The fears that cloud me here have passed away.

Between the illuminated
         and the left unseen,
Beyond the shadow of a doubt, I dream.

Beneath, but not beyond, I know.
into the dark again I go.
Under the earthen waves and rolling sky,

Beneath the shadow of your wings I lie.

  4. I love how "into the darkness" makes the reader feel that evil is lurking only to find out that the darkness is the shadow of a loving wing. Powerful! Sara
